Ambientorg

Electroacoustic music project was started in 2011: three composers decided to mix electronic ambient music with classical pipe organ. The main idea was to connect different genres and bring some experimentalism to conservative area of pipe organ music. Until then there were several concerts made in Vilnius and Kaunas (Lithuania). Ambientorg team also participated in electroacoustic music festival "Jauna muzika" (2013). Team of Ambientorg also worked in MoKS residency (Estonia) where they gave a concert "Timeless Organ/Impossible Organ".

Program of the project consists not only of music by three composers, but also transcriptions of famous ambient music examples - works by Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada. During the concert pipe organ is amplified and sound transformed using computer (Ableton Live, Max/MSP).
